Current Situation (as of June 30, 2021)
Dissolution of the agreement between the federal government and Flugplatz Dübendorf AG
In connection with the Dübendorf airfield, representatives of the federal government and Flugplatz Dübendorf AG (FDAG) decided to mutually dissolve the general agreement concluded in 2015. The federal government will reimburse FDAG for expenses incurred to date and planning work that has already been carried out with 7,3 million francs.
The general agreement was concluded after FDAG was awarded the contract for the development and operation of the civil airfield. However, due to newly emerged questions, the Federal Council came to the conclusion in autumn 2020 to discontinue the sectoral plan procedure for the conversion of the airfield.
The amicable solution is in the interests of both sides. In this way, long-term legal proceedings can be avoided.
